Lynda Carter
Carter was born in Phoenix as the daughter of Juanita (nee Cordova) and Colby Carter. Her mother is from Mexico, is Mexican, Spanish and French. She has a brother, Vincent and a sister named Pamela. Carter aged five made her television debut on Lew King's Talent Show. Carter joined a band named Just Us during high school. The group was comprised of conga, marimba, an acoustic bass and stand-up basses. One member of the group also played guitar. At age 15 Lynda began singing at the local pizza parlor to earn money. She joined her cousins, The Relatives, when she turned 16. The drummer of the group was Gary Burghoff, an actor. The band first performed in Las Vegas at the Sahara Hotel & Casino Lounge. Carter was 21 years old when she first entered the kitchen. After being named "Most gifted" and deciding to leave the school to pursue an opportunity as a musician. Carter attended an audition in the year 1970, and performed on tour with The Garfin Gathering's ban
